HOT AIR CIRCULATING TYPE DRAWING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To stabilize the quality by heating to a uniform temp. improve the thermal efficiency by applying a jet of hot air to a stretchable strip-like body and producing its circulation. CONSTITUTION:When the drawing width or factor of a stretchable strip-like body F to be drawn is set by operating drawing factor adjusting mechanism 4 to regulate the distance or opening angle between support plates 3, the movable plates 7b of a hot air guide plate 7 are automatically actuated responsively to the distance and the opening angle between these support plates 3 into contact with the inner surface of drawing pulleys 3a. In a case where the stretchable strip-like body F is composed of the film having little or no air permeability, when a jet of hot air is directed against a nearly central part of the film drawing zone by a hot air blower 5, this hot air is allowed to flow along the film surface to the entrance side 1 of the film and the exit side 0 thereof to heat the film entirely to a uniform temp. and then it is passed through hot air circulating passages 6 and sucked in by an air supply fan 51 of the hot air blower 5.
