<p>PURPOSE:To ensure separation of sheets one by one in a paper feeder of a copying device by constituting it so that a sheet detecting means is provided downstream of a feeding means and a feeding action of the feeding means is stopped for a predetermined time when the sheet detecting mean first detects a sheet at start of the feeding device. CONSTITUTION:When a paper feeder 10 is started, a weight plate spring 23 presses the top paper of original sheets, and other initialization is carried out and starting memory is stored at a controller. And after micro period of time, a pick-up roller 21, a feed roller 26 and a separating belt device 200 are started. By this, the original sheet is pushed back to the upstream side in the sheet progress direction. And when a separation sensor 30 first detects a sheet, an electromagnetic clutch, not shown, is opened and the feed roller 26 is stopped. At the same time, the starting memory of the controller is erased by this detection signal. And after a predetermined period of time, the feed roller 26 is restarted for feeding paper.</p> |
