PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness of the whole of a medium and to increase sticking strength by fixing a hub with a flange part in the central hole in a discoid substrate from the inside of the substrate with an inner notch. CONSTITUTION:The insertion part 6a of a hub 6 is inserted into the central hole 5 in a discoid substrate 2 from the inside with a formed recording layer 3 and the hub 6 is adhered with an adhesive. This adhesive is applied to the layer 3 side of the substrate 2 and the flange part 6b of the hub 6, and the substrate 2 and the hub 6 are stuck to other discoid substrate 2 and other hub 6 to obtain a recording medium 1. Even when the diameter and depth of the clamping area of a turntable are small, the overlap widths of the hubs 6 and the substrates 2 can be increased and adhesive strength to force in any direction can be made high. The thickness of the whole of the medium is reduced and sticking strength is increased.
