A mini-blind for windows, fits the desired window width exactly no matter what the width may be, and yet may be easily sized at the point of purchase. The mini-blind has a head rail in which all ladder baskets and ladders, except one, are slidable from a pre-sizing position to a sizing position in which all parts of excess length are readily separable from the remainder of the blind. Thereafter the ladder baskets and their associated ladders are slid to the sized position so that a properly proportioned structure results.
