PURPOSE:To improve the fatigue resistance and seizing resistance of an alloy, in an Al series bearing alloy using Bi as a low-m.p. metal, by specifying the elements simultaneously to be added and their content. CONSTITUTION:This Al base bearing alloy is constituted of, by weight, 2 to 15% Bi, 0.05 to 1% Zr. 0.1 to 1.5% Cu and/or Mg and the balance Al. The above components may furthermore be mixed with 0.05 to 5% of one or more kinds among Si, Mn, V or the like. Together with the above, 0.05 to <2% of one or more kinds among Sn, Pb and In can moreover be added thereto. In the above-mentioned manner, by using Bi having the m.p. higher than that of Sn as a low-m.p. metal, the Al matrix is provided with the high m.p., and Zr added together with Bi improves the strength of the Al matrix and is furthermore useful for finely dispersing Bi.
