A pressure relief gear in a pipe line (1) consists of a sleeve (2) with a relief bore (12), which is closed by a valve (9-11) that is screwed onto an angular profile (6). The latter is secured at one end by a fixed bolt (4), and by a draw pin (5) at the other end. Thus it enables the angular profile and valve to swing through 90 degrees. The angular profile has U-shaped cross-sectional profile and the shanks are parallel to the axis of the sleeve, with a distance between them corresponding nearly to the diametre of the sleeve. USE/ADVANTAGE - For material supply in mines, with simple design for rapid pressure relief, and easy cleaning.
