PURPOSE:To prevent room temperature rise and leakage of rainwater in a room and nicely keep the room environment by mounting an opening and closing device which has a shape memory alloy on a solid frame of a sash frame to enable automatic simultaneous opening and closing of multiple window due to shrinkage of the shape memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:An opening and closing device 13 which consists of a coil-shaped shape memory alloy 14, a spring coil 15, a fixed support piece 16, an L-shaped working body 17, a rod 18, and a nut 19 is mounted along a solid frame 3 of a sash frame 2. Solid frames 11, 12 of upper and lower sliding doors 7, 9 which are mounted on both ends of the working body 17 and sash frame 2 in such a way that can be opened or closed freely are supported by opening and closing support shafts 23, 25. When room temperature rises above 25 deg.C, the shape memory alloy 14 elongates and the coil 15 shrinks. Therefore, the lower sliding door 9 is closed via the support shaft 23 by pulling the working body 17 upward, and the upper sliding door 7 is closed via the support shaft 25 simultaneously. On the contrary, when room temperature drops, the upper and lower sliding doors 7, 9 are closed. |
