<p>PURPOSE:To improve treatment capacity of a water treating apparatus, by connectively installing a gas-liquid contacting tank on the storage tank and installing a treating water spraying nozzle at the upper part of the former tank and air diffusers in both tanks, and then aerating the treating water in both tanks. CONSTITUTION:To nozzle 3 at the upper part of gas-liquid contacting tank 2 connectively installed on treated water storage tank 1, the raw water is supplied by pump 5 from storage tank 4 and the oxygen bearing gas is compressedly supplied by compressor 6, and the treating water is sprayed from nozzle 3 under gas-liquid mixed condition. The sprayed treating water is aerated in gas-liquid contacting tank 2 and then drops into storage tank 1. The sprayed water is aerated in gas-liquid contacting tank 2 and storage tank 1, respectively, by means of air diffusers 8 and 9 connected to blower 7 and installed at the lower part of them. Then, by discharging passages 10 and 12 of both tanks 1 and 2, the ascending treated water contacts the descending exhaust gas in the vicinity of fluid outlet 16. A similar effect is obtained even when the oxygen bearing gas supply to nozzle 3 is omitted.</p> |
