发明名称 TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION SWITCHING CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the switching time of the transmission mode and the reception mode of a semiconductor laser by shorting the semiconductor laser immediately after transmission by means of light emission from the semiconductor laser based on control signals generated from a transmission/reception frame, discharging the accumulation charge of the semiconductor laser at high speed and releasing a short after discharge. CONSTITUTION:The control signals A and B are generated from the transmission/reception frame and switches 9 and 10 are respectively opened/ closed by the control signals A and B. The switch 9 is turned off by the control signal B immediately after transmission, and the switch 10 is turned on by the control signal A. The semiconductor laser 7 is shorted by turning on the switch 10. Thus, the charge accumulated in the semiconductor laser is discharged at high speed. Then, the switch 10 is turned off when the control signal A is eliminated after discharge and the short is released. Then, a signal received in the semiconductor laser 7 is impressed on an amplifier 11 and a reception signal is obtained. Thus, the switching time of the transmission mode and the reception mode of the semiconductor laser is shortened.
