PURPOSE:To prevent the number of the tones to be simultaneously produced from changing so much as a whole even if the number of key touches changes and to obtain the ensemble effect natural for listening by floatingly changing the number of the sound production channels to be allotted to respective key touches according to the number of the key touches. CONSTITUTION:The two channels each are allotted to the respective keys at the point of the time when the key of the 4th tone is touched if a sound source is of 8-channel constitution. The whole of the 8 channels is already used up to the 4th tone when the key of the 5th tone is touched and, therefore, the sound producing channels are insufficient in this state. The one channel-component for the key touch of any among the key touches up to the 4th tone is erased after the 5th tone and this erased channel is allotted to the fresh key touch. The one channel-component for any of the key touches is erased and the erased channel is allotted to the fresh key touch at every increase of the number of the key touches by one in such a manner. The number of the tones to be simultaneously produced in prevented from changing so much as a whole in this way even if the number of the key touches increases. The ensemble effect natural for listening is thus obtd. |
