The flowerbox is combined with a railing for balconies or terraces (11). It is carried by walls (3) and/or pillars. It consists of a trough-shaped body (1) surrounded by a railing and having end-walls (2) and at least two support points (4), the width of the railing equalling the total height. A support point (4) is installed on each of the end walls (2) and excentrically to the centre of gravity of the trough-shaped body on its inside. In the upper part of each end wall (2), a support point (6) is arranged for a force directed mainly inwards, in order to counter the moment caused by the excentric support. USE/ADVANTAGE - The design achieves savings in weight and in space. |
