A protective device for electrically controlled pneumatic valves, intended to prevent moisture and impurities from intruding into the valve through an exhaust channel. The exhaust channel comprises an axially extending flow passage being located radially between the solenoid coil (4) of the valve and an armature tube (8) thereof, said flow passage being connected to the outside of the valve via a diverting passage (20a, 20b) which is preferably labyrinth-like. Hereby moisture and impurities are prevented from directly intruding into the inside of the valve. Moreover, the exhaust channel is drained and rinsed by the exhaust air flowing therethrough. |
