PURPOSE:To make a capacitor small in property dispersion at good yield and with high productivity by forming electrodes severally at the whole surfaces of the inside periphery and the outside periphery of the cylindrical base substance of a ferroelectric material, and polishing the end faces so as to adjust the capacitance. CONSTITUTION:The whole surfaces of the inside periphery and the outside periphery of the cylindrical base substance 10 of a cylindrical ferroelectric material, which has barium titanate for its main ingredient, are severally plated with copper or nickel by electroless plating. When the end is polished next, it becomes a cylindrical body 10, where the plating film at the end vanishes and also electrodes 11 and 12 are made at the inside periphery and the outside periphery and capacitance is adjusted. Leads 13 and 14 are soldered to these electrodes 11 and 12, severally, and the whole is dipped in resin 17, whereupon it becomes a ceramic capacitor. By this constitution, a ceramic capacitor small in property dispersion can be made at good yield and with high productivity. |
