HEAT FLOW METER

This heat gauge is used for measuring the quantity of heat emitted by heat-transmitting networks in residential as well as non-residential buildings. It possesses enhanced technological capacity and reliability. It contains a first (1), second (2), third (6) and fourth (8) temperature pick-ups, whose outlets are connected to the respective inlets of a calculator (4), to whose outlet the navigating inlet of a valve (5) is connected. By closing the valve, a heat marker is created between the two temperature pick-ups (1 and 6) in the gauging tube (7). In this way, the time of the heat front passage is reported. Taking into consideration the integral time of an open valve, the heat consumption of the fluid and the difference in the reports from the temperature pick-ups (1 and 6), the supplied quantity of heat can be calculated.
