<p>PURPOSE:To not only allow inconsistent properties such as wear resistance, workability, etc., to be compatible but also to select a suitable combination by forming a magnetic tape slide contact of a fixed drum of a guide member of a material different from that of other part of the drum. CONSTITUTION:A fixed drum 31 rotatably supports a fixed drum 32, and a magnetic head 32a is mounted on a rotary drum 32. A magnetic tape 34 is wound at 180 deg. on the drum 31, fed along a guide surface 32a in a direction of an arrow (b), and the drum 31 is formed of a guide member 35 having high wear resistance at the periphery of a slide contact 31b with the tape 34. Since the slide contact of the drum is formed of a material different from that of the other part, two types of materials having different properties are used in combination. Thus, various suitable combinations can be selected by consider ing not only compatibility of inconsistent properties such as wear resistance, workability, etc., but also a frictional coefficient, compatibility with a magnetic tape, etc.</p> |
