<p>PURPOSE:To suppress unnecessary power consumption by providing a sensor to detect whether a worker is in front of electronic equipment or not and power- controlling by making display off automatically, for instance when the worker is not in front of the electronic equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a worker leaves his seat during personal computer operating, a sensor 1 detects that the worker leaves, and sensor status becomes '0'. Thus, a signal inputted to a switch 11 of a back light power is changed from '1' into '0', the switch 11 of the back light power becomes off with receiving it, the power is not supplied to a back light and the back light is out. After this, when the worker comes back, the sensor status becomes '1' and the signal inputted to the switch 11 of the back light power is changed from '0' into '1', the switch becomes on, the power is supplied to the back light and the back light is on. Thus, unnecessary power consumption while the worker is absent is avoided.</p> |
