The present invention relates to an assembly for producing a cruciform volume by means of a cardboard model design, eliminating a succession of complicated assembly operations as well as any glueing. Assembly, characterised in that it consists of a sheet (1) of cardboard constituting all the elements (6) of the model coated with a film of a varnish with water, of weight lying between 250 g/m<2> and 270 g/m<2>, the face (6) of which is printed with colours and/or with decorative patterns. The assembly is stamped (precutout, pregrooved) with lines (7) for cutting and folding corresponding to the visible elements (6) of the model, as well as the elements, called stiffeners (8). The model is made up of four elements (2)(3)(4) combining with one another via fixing tabs (5) for some (2) and by means of a square orifice (10) placed in the middle of the two opposite walls of one of the two main elements (3)(4) by virtue of which the two elements (3)(4) are integrated into one another, thus allowing the whole of the volume to be maintained without glueing. The assembly, the subject of the invention, is particularly intended for an advertising medium. <IMAGE>
