PURPOSE:To keep off any rolling in an elevator cage due to inclination by shifting a weight and correcting the cage inclination at a time when this cage inclination is detected. CONSTITUTION:When passenger getting into an elevator cage 5 are one-sided into one spot, by way of example, and thereby the cage 5 gets unbalanced into inclination, this inclination is detected by a tilt detector. On the basis of this detection, a driver 27 of a weight 26 is controlled by a control means 33, through which the weight 26 is controlled so as to balance the centroid of the cage 5, thus the inclination of the cage 5 is corrected. With this constitution, any rolling in the cage 5 attributable to inclination of the cage 5 is preventable. |
