<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a low-reflection-factor, low-lightness surface free from irregularity of color by roughing the surface of an aluminum pipe and attaching and depositing dyes to the surface with a solution including organic solvent and the dyes. CONSTITUTION:The surface of an aluminum pipe is roughed by abrasion by blasting or with an abrasive ring. Corundum, silicon carbide, silica sand, etc., are used as abrasives. In the second stage of two stages, the surface is roughed more complicatedly by blasting with fine abrasives. In coloring, dyes soluble in organic solvent and insoluble in water are used. Thereby the dyes insoluble in water enter the fine recessions of the roughed surface and their color tones and lightness are maintained for a long time, therefore, they withstand weather for a long time.</p> |
