PURPOSE:To enhance humidity resistance and durability, by providing a conductive layer with a metal or semiconductor thin film on a smooth support, such as plastics, further on this layer a dielectric layer consisting of a specified spacer and a dielectric resin, and forming the dielectric layer in the part free from the spacer in a specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:A conductive layer of a metal such as platinum, or a thin film of a photoconductor, such as SnO2 is formed on a plastic sheet or the like to provide a support, and on this layer is formed a dielectric resin layer containing 50-50,000/ cm<2> spacer particles having >=7mum spherical particle diameter, made of a thermosetting resin, such as melamine resin small in change of mechanical strength and electrical resistance due to moisture absorption. This dielectric resin layer in the parts free from the spacer particles is formed in 5-20mum thickness, thus permitting an electrostatic recorder capable of forming a superior record of high abrasion resistance in a wide humidity range. |
