PURPOSE:To judge the quality of the opening of the cavity part of a rotor by rotating a cast disk rotor at a constant speed, penetrating light rays into the cavity in the direction of a diameter, and inspecting pulses which are periodically cut and generated. CONSTITUTION:A cast disk rotor 1 is constituted of two ring-plate parts 11 which face at a specified interval in the axial direction, a radiation plate part 12 and a cavity part 13. A rotor driving part 2 has a turntable 21 which is rotated at a constant speed. The positions of axial centers M of the rotor 1 and the table 21 are aligned, and the rotor and the table are mounted. The light which is emitted from a light emitting diode 31 and receiving part 3 is shaped into the intended cross-sectional shape through a stop plate 32. The light is converted into a pseudo-parallel-line pattern with a lens system 34 through a prism 33. The light is emitted in the direction of the diameter of the rotor 1. A microcomputer device 5 counts the widths and the intervals of the received pulse signals and judges the quality of the cast disk rotor. |
