<p>PURPOSE:To reduce turbulance of an ionization sphere and to enhance dust collection efficiency by equipping a preliminary charge part which is constituted of a discharge electrode impressed with high voltage, the cover of this discharge electrode and an earthed counter electrode and electrifies dirt in the air, a dust collection filter for collecting dirt and a filter for attracting and relaxing odor. CONSTITUTION:When high voltage is impressed to a discharge electrode 1, corona discharge is caused in the circumference of this discharge electrode 1. Tons having the same polarity as the discharge electrode 1 are generated and the lines of ionization are formed toward a counter electrode 4 and an ionization sphere is formed. When the cover 3 of a discharge electrode is ordinarily provided to the upper part of the discharge electrode 1, the ionization sphere is disturbed and the dust collection is deteriorated by about 10-20%. The lines of ionization are formed toward an electrostatic filter 109 and a deodorization filter 110 which are grounded to the earth by providing an aperture part 2 to the cover 3 of the discharge electrode in the upper part of the discharge electrode 1. Turbulence of the ionization sphere is reduced. When the air incorporating dirt is introduced into the ionization sphere of this preliminary charge part 5, the dirt in this air is easily ionized and more attracted to the electrostatic filter 109. Thereby purification is performed in a short time.</p> |
