The subject of the invention is multipurpose passive protection panels. The upper rail (109) is a round tube; the said round upper rail (109) is fastened by a means acting as a clamping collar (201), itself fastened on a rail support (202) including a cradle (203); the said rail support (202) is fastened by anchoring means (118) to the posts of the railings; the clamping collar (201) is a double bracket; the double bracket is in the shape of a folded U; the two ends of the U-shaped piece are threaded and fastened on the rail support, as is the top of the U which passes through a groove provided for this purpose in the said rail support; a ring (215) is arranged on the rail at the level of the clamping collars, which ring acts as a spacer for thickness adjustment.
