Drying installation for crates - spin dries stacks after washing inside rotating cylinder driven by electromotor

The washed crates are stacked (K) and moved on conveyors (B) to a drying position. Each stack is pushed into a cylinder (Z) and clamped by a vertical hydraulic ram (H). Rapid rotation of the stack inside the cylinder forces any moisture outwards. When the cylinder stops rotating the moisture drains away into fixed ducts (A) and the stack is replaced by the next stack. The rotation is generated by an integral electric motor (E). The conveyor section (ZB) under the cylinder rotates with the stack. The conveyors are staggered for optimum effect. No other drying means are required. USE/ADVANTAGE - Rapid drying process, fast throughput. Cleaning of plastics material food trays and crates.
