A feeding bowl for budgerigars or other similar caged birds has two compartments and an upper and a lower section. The upper section is seated in the lower one which is divided into separate husk and feed compartments, the depth being about two or three centrimetres, but can be more. The upper section consists of a hood and sides and a sieve covering the husk compartment. It may be made of wood, plastics or ceramic material, and its function is to separate the husks from the feed and deposit them in the special compartment. USE/ADVANTAGE - The sides extend to the end of the husk compartment, so preventing a sideways scattering of husks.
