发明名称 IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent an electrode in use from being melted and deteriorated and avoid degradation of quality of formed image by a method wherein niobium carbide is contained in a high-molecular compound selected from groups comprising polyethylene tetrafluoride for use with an ink carrier electrode. CONSTITUTION:As electroconductive high-molecular compounds on the surface of a roller 5, niobium carbide is contained in one or two or more out of nitrile rubber, butyl rubber, chloroprene rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, chlorinated polyethylene, polyethylene tetrafluoride, etc. Voltage is applied between an ink carrier electrode 5a and an image carrier electrode 6 by means of an electric power source 8, the electrode 5a being an anode and the electrode 6 a cathode, whereby, since adhesive property of ink in an ink layer 5b in contact with an electroconductive material 6a of the electrode 6 decreases, ink does not adhere to the material 6a. However, since an insulated image pattern 6b is insulated, voltage is not applied thereto and hence adhesive property of ink remains unchanged, so that an ink image pattern 6c is formed on the image pattern 6b corresponding to image pattern.
