The metal screw-nut has a hollow cylindrical threaded sleeve (9) one end of which has a coaxial clamping-sleeve (7). A locking washer (6) is joined to the threaded sleeve (9) and has the other end of the clamping sleeve (7) resting axially on it. The locking washer (6) is moulded in one piece on the clamping sleeve (7) which forms a length of the nut (5) between the locking washer (6) and the threaded sleeve (9). The hollow section of the clamping sleeve (7) is larger than that of the threaded sleeve (9). One end of the clamping sleeve (7) is in the form of a truncated cone-shaped annular collar (8). The nut (5) has two diametrically opposite wings. ADVANTAGE - The screw nut is produced very much more cheaply by incorporating the locking washer in the clamping sleeve.
