PURPOSE:To enable controlling the air volume and prevent turbulence, etc., of the flow by a method wherein a plurality of high-density air filters in plate form are set in a row along the flow of air in a duct, and varying the number. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of air filters-in-plate-form 11 are set in a row in the direction of the flow of air, a first such filter 11 being set contiguously behind a fixed spacer 12a and, after placing a detachable spacer 12b contiguously downstream, a second such filter 11 being set and so forth in succession. The resistance which affects a flow of air varies with the number of the air filters-in-plate-form 11 in use. Therefore, the control of the air volume can be effected by changing the number of such air filters 11 set for use. This method of controlling a flow of air serves to improve a flow of air in preventing turbulence, etc., through smoothening of the flow and in reducing whistle and whiz of flowing air. |
