<p>A freeze-drying assembly has a cabinet with a number of height-adjustable shelves. The infinitely variable interval between shelves is varied by a single height-adjustment mechanism (14). The interval between adjacent shelves remains essentially identical. The height adjustment mechanism can also incline the shelves. The height-adjustment mechanism has levers (20), each moving about its own pivot point (24). Each lever supports a number of hanging rods (22), each supporting one end of a shelf (12). The lower end of the hanging rod may be shifted left or right as required. Two levers are attached to a common shaft.</p> |
