CONSTITUTION:The morpheme analysis part 2 of an analysis processor 1 divides an inputted Japanese language text into every word, and attaches grammar information and meaning information on each word by referring to a Japanese language dictionary 4. Thence, a syntax analysis part 3 judges the modification relation of divided words based on the meaning information, the grammar information, and part of speech matrix information, and analyzes structure. At this time, when the word modified by the participial modification clause is the one with indefinite meaning, a modification judging part 31 judges the case relation between the following predicate modified by the word with indefinite meaning, and attaches the meaning constraint information on the word with indefinite meaning. Thence, a participial modification clause decision part 32 judges the case relation between the word with indefinite meaning and the predicate in the participial modification clause.
