A parallel inverter system has a plurality of AC output inverters of an instantaneous voltage control type, a bus (3) for connecting outputs of the inverters to a load (4) so as to share the load current, a detection circuit (406a) for detecting a cross current component in a current flowing among the inverters (100), and an instantaneous voltage control circuit (403) for controlling the output voltages of the inverters.
