<p>The apparatus comprises an injection molding machine for simultaneously forming the male and female case members (3) and (4); a robot arm (6) having suckers (111) on respective seats (114, 115) for removing the male and female case members (3, 4) from the injection molding machine and assembling the male and female case members (3, 4); and a packaging device for gathering and packaging assembled plastic cases. The members (3, 4) are assembled by slidable displacement of one seat (114) vertically towards the other, to engage the members (3, 4) at hinge pins (31, Fig 5), about which the case is then pivotally closed, being initially partially closed by air blown through the suckers (111) as the seat (114) is retracted, and then being completely closed upon pivotal displacement of member (115) about a pivot (117) into a horizontal position. <IMAGE></p> |
