The essence of this type of foundation consists in prefabricating only that part of the foundation (here referred to as casing) which is intended subsequently to receive the wall or pillar on site, without prefabricating the foundation slab or footing. This prefabricated casing has "feet" which make it self- supporting and they allow it to be erected on site before fabrication of the footing or slab in addition to allowing, under the bottom of the casing and around it, much easier pouring of the concrete which would constitute the basic "body" of said slab or footing. Finally, the slab or footing and the casing form a practically monolithic whole. The process and the casing are claimed. <IMAGE>
