PURPOSE:To correct errors in a microinstruction with small quantity of hardware and within a short period of time by reporting the error address to a main storage device and requesting a microinstruction when a microprogram control device is not detected being not in operation. CONSTITUTION:When a microprogram control device 100 detects an idle condi tion in an idle detection circuit 190, reports the condition to microprogram control devices 300 and 400 with an idle condition reporting signal 12 and receives a request for a microinstruction from the microprogram control device 400 with a microinstruction request signal 21, the error address in a microprogram control device 400 is transferred with an address transfer bus 50. And the microprogram control device 100 switches a a selector 170 within the device with an address control device 160, stores the transferred address in an address register 140, and stores the microinstruction in a reading data register 130. Thus, the correction of errors in the microinstruction is possible with small quantity of hardware and within a short period of time. |
