PURPOSE:To increase the upper and lower slide amount of a seat belt anchor by making the midway part of a slide plate serve as a continuous slide amount adjusting part through the other part and a tapered contact part, and connecting the adjusting part with the other parts through an elastic deforming member. CONSTITUTION:A seat belt anchor 13 is installed on a vertical slide rail 2 which is provided on a center pillar 1 of a vehicle body so as to be adjusted at upper and lower positions freely, and a slide plate 20 which interlocks with the seat belt anchor 13 is provided on the back side of a longitudinal opening part formed on a garnish 5 which covers the center pillar 1 in the seat belt upper and lower position adjusting device. With this constitution, there is provided a slide amount adjusting part 21 on the upper side and the lower side of the slide plate 20. The slide amount adjusting part 21 is made to continue to edge side parts 20a, 20c and an approximately central side part 20b of the slide plate 20 through a tapered contact part 22 which is open to the back side B of the garnish 5. Besides, a leaf spring 25 which is made to cross between the edge side parts 20a, 20c and the central part 20b is connected with the back side B of the slide amount adjusting part 21. |
