A porcelain cup of this shape, as shown, is a beverage container formed by the combination of the cup with an outer tube. Both of the cup and the outer tube have common tapered portions complementary to each other, so that sliding on and tightly fitting to each other makes it possible to offset a dimensional inaccuracy of the porcelain. This prevents a heating element disposed downwardly from radiating heat and contributes to the stability of the cup. Since the cup is tapered downwardly, the outer periphery will not be excessively increased even when the heating element and a heat insulating material are disposed around the cup.
|
