The feedthrough piece (22) is directly fixed to the sealing cover (20) in the region of the opening. Pref. it has a considerable distance such as of the order of thickness of the feedthrough piece from the underside (40) of the cooking plate body, or respectively the heater. The distance amounts to about half the height of the space (21) between the underside of the cooking plate body and the sealing cover, or more. The feedthrough may have the form of a flat plate in the plane of the sealing cover, whose thickness is less than a third, and pref. around a fifth of its length. It may have holding cut outs which mesh with tongues in the cover.
