摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable both the cooling of an electronic circuit chip and a wiring which takes advantage of light that travels through a free space to be realized by a method wherein a cooling body is provided to one of the sides of a board, and the optical path of an optical free space wiring or an optical element is provided to the other side of the board. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting elements 6 and 7 and photodetective elements 8 and 9 are arranged on the side of a board 1 opposite to its side where an electronic circuit chip is provided, and a conversion element 14 is arranged spatially separate from the board 1. When signals are transmitted from an electronic circuit 2 to an electronic circuit 3, the signals outputted from the electronic circuit chip 2 are sent to the light emitting element 6 passing through a signal wire 10. The signal light emitted from the light emitting element 6 is transmitted to a wave-front conversion element 14 via an optical path 15 and then guided to the light emitting element 9 via an optical path 16. Thereafter, the signal light is inputted into an electronic circuit chip 3 passing through a signal wire 12. The output signal outputted from the electronic circuit chip 3 is inputted into the electronic circuit chip 2 via a signal wire 13, a light emitting element 7, optical paths 17 and 18, a photodetective element 8, and a signal wire 11. At this point, a cooling body 19 is provided to cool down a board and made to also serve to cool optical elements mounted on the board.</p>
