<p>A metal end cap (68) for a high pressure fuel injector prevents leakage of fuel as a result of high pressures within the injector. The terminals (78, 80) for the solenoid are insulated from the cap (68) by means of a plurality of insulating spacers (92, 94) on either side of a high pressure O-ring seal (90). The metal end cap (68) is sealed by means of a high press O-ring seal (70) from the body (12) of the injector.</p> |
