PURPOSE:To execute a more natural operation and to enhance the work efficiency by segmenting an image not by a data unit but by a unit of the image itself. CONSTITUTION:When it is judged that a segmenting area is designated at present in a memory 3, 'segment data ID' is written in the segmenting area 31 in the memory. Subsequently, when it is judged that an unprocessed graphic exists in the segmenting area, one unprocessed graphic in the segmenting area is fetched. Whether the whole of its fetched graphic is contained in the segmenting area or not is checked, and whether a part of its fetched graphic is contained in the segmenting area or not is checked, clipping information is set so as to become the whole graphic, the clipping information is set so as to become an area contained in the segmenting area of the graphic, and in the segmenting area 31 in the memory, 'graphic ID', 'graphic information', and 'clock information' are written. In such a way, the segmenting operation can be executed efficiently. |
