PURPOSE:To evade an incomplete analysis of a sentence and to obtain the correct analyzing result by generating the new words with use of a word end/ head conjugation dictionary for the unregistered KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) adopted words and compound KATAKANA adopted words which are included in the text. CONSTITUTION:A word end/head conjugation dictionary 73 includes a word/ phrese dictionary storing the registered words and phrases, the KATAKANA display information on the inflectional word ends and various affixes of foreign languages, the information on how the descriptions change at the word end/head parts when the inflectional word ends and the affixes of foreign languages are connected to a certain word, etc. Then the new words are generated with use of the dictionary 73 for the unregistered KATAKANA adopted words and compound KATAKANA adopted words included in the text, and the dictionary is retrieved for these new words. Thus the dictionary information on the registered words can be effectively used for the unregistered words. As a result, an incomplete analysis of sentences can be evaded and the correct analyzing result is always obtained. Then the sentences can be analyzed with high accuracy. |
