摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance measuring accuracy and to evaluate residual life within a short time by classifying a material used at high temp. under high stress into two kinds in a creep damage form and discriminating between the damage quantifying methods corresponding to the respective kinds. CONSTITUTION:The mode corresponding to an object to be inspected easy to change in its crystal particle and the mode corresponding to an object to be inspected easy to generate creep voids in a creep damage form are inputted to an inspection mode selecting circuit 14. An ultrasonic inspection apparatus 9 transmits ultrasonic waves to objects 7a, 7b to be inspected through probes 8a - 8c on the basis of the modes and receives the reflected waves from the objects 7a, 7b to be inspected. Subsequently, a creep damage quantity quantifying circuit 10 performs the measurement of sonic velocity and the statistical processing of frequency spectrum distribution from the output of the apparatus 9 on the basis of the modes. A creep residual life evaluating circuit 11 performs the comparative operation of these data with the stored data respectively corresponding to the data to evaluate residual life and the evaluation data is stored in an evaluation data memory circuit 12 to be displayed on a printer 13b and a display 13a.
