PURPOSE:To make both of contraction and enlargement so as to be done so quickly by changing a scale display when a scale change takes place, while when reading and drawing motion is already performed, stopping the motion, and performing the reading and drawing motion with a newly specified scale. CONSTITUTION:When a scale display changing means 5 feeds data for changing a scale display to a control means 7, a scale is displayed by each display color showing the 'determination or indetermination' of this scale by a display control means 8 and a display means 9. Next, a map data reading drawing stopping means 6 feeds a command for stopping the reading drawing motion already atarted to the control means 7 and performs another reading drawing motion at a new scale instead. With this constitution, the scale specified by the means 5 is grasped, and simultaneously since it is quickly alterable to the scale specified by the means 6, responsiveness at time of enlargement/contraction becomes speedier. |
