PURPOSE:To enable the fluidity of a developer to be maintained for a long period by implementing a process for applying a fluidity assistant additive before a classification process in the manufacture process for the developer. CONSTITUTION:A classification process for eliminating unnecessary fine toner particles in the manufacture of toner particles, is implemented after the additive application process where the toner particles and additives are mixed with each other. In other words, the additives are mixed with a toner particle group containing the fine toner particles, and thereafter excessive additives are eliminated, together with the fine toner particles. When a developer so manufactured is used with an actual machine, the amount of the additives acting as fluidizing agents becomes constant, due to the non-existence of excessive additives, and the fluidity of the developer can be maintained for a long period. |
