PURPOSE:To form a symmetrical and widespread sound field at a hearing position by outputting a crosstalk signal where either level or phase of the basic sound or effective sound of each channel on the right and left is corrected and a crosstalk adjustment signal where either level is corrected respectively to right-and-left speakers or to a center speaker. CONSTITUTION:A center speaker is provided near the center of the left and right speakers. The acoustic signal of the basic sound of the stereo acoustic signal from a acoustic signal source and the acoustic signal of the effective sound such as the initial reflection sound and reverberation sound are supplied to the respective right and left speakers. On the other hand, at least either of phase or level of the acoustic signal of the basic sound and the effective sound of the right and left channels is respectively corrected and added in a crosstalk signal preparation means to be supplied to a center speaker as a crosstalk signal. At least either level of the acoustic signals of the basic sound and the effective sound of right and left channels is corrected, and the added and prepared crosstalk adjustment signal is supplied to the center speaker in the crosstalk adjustment means. |
