PURPOSE:To easily assemble various types of overload protection devices with a few types of components by arrangedly installing a thermostat element on a thermosensitive base and a heater on a heater base respectively and assembling both of them in opposition to each other. CONSTITUTION:A thermosensitive base 18 is molded of insulating thermoplastic resin and equipped with a terminal assembly 23 having a supporting plate 20 and a fixed contact 22, and a thermostatic element 19 fixing a movable contact 21 which is mold-processed of bimetal, etc., and makes a snap action at a preset temperature is attached to the center by a screw 24. A heater base 25 is molded of insulating thermosetting resin and has a hole 25a through which the pin terminal 16 of a motor is passed, and fitted to the thermosensitive base 18. Then, it is equipped with a heater 27 which is connected to a heater terminal 26 and a pin receptacle 28. The element 19 senses heating of a heater wire 27 or heat of a motor to make a contact off. |
