Capacitors (C1,C2) and diodes (D1,D2) are connected between the collectors and emitters of two main transistors (Q1,Q2) respectively, and currents which are rectified through diodes (DC3,DC4) are converted to a voltage (Vcg), to compare the voltage with a reference voltage (Vref). If the voltage is greater than the reference voltage, a control transistor (Q3) is driven, and the output of the transistor (Q3) is supplied through resistors (R2,R3) to the base of another control transistor (Q4). The coils of a driving transformer (T) is connected through diodes (DC1,DC2) to the collector of the control transistor (Q4).
