The invention relates to a service platform (2) with a ladder for closed tank wagons, particularly for tanker wagons, located on the top of the tank (1), supported on the body (1a) of the tank with the aid of support legs (3) and provided with longitudinal open meshwork walkways (5), a ladder (8) extending, over at least one of the longitudinal sides of the tank, from the platform up to the area of the chassis (9). This platform rests on the body of the tank solely by four support legs (3), and it possesses two transverse hoops (4) exhibiting, on the end of their branches, a support leg. To each of these branches is also fixed a longitudinal guard rail which extends above the walkways, the upper end of the ladder being fixed to the walkway, whereas the lower end is connected to the chassis by a ladder support (10). <IMAGE>
