APPEARANCE INSPECTION METHOD

摘要

PURPOSE:To attain the efficient selection of a feature quantity and the determining of a membership function by executing the determining of a separating degree to represent the degree of the separation of a good product and a defective product of the feature quantity obtained from the picture information of an inspection object and using the separating degree. CONSTITUTION:The determining of a separating degree to represent the degree of the separation of a good product and a defective product of a feature quantity obtained from the picture information of an inspection object is executed and an examinated result is outputted by fuzzy inference with the feature quantities as input. Besides, when the feature quantity selected with using the separating degree is used for the fuzzy inference, a membership function is determined with using an average and standard deviation used for the determining of the separating degree. Thus, the efficient selection of the feature quantity and the determining of the membership function can be executed because of the fuzzy inference and not relying on the perception, the experience and the trial and error of human beings.
