<p>PURPOSE:To externally store version-up data directly in a subsystem memory by storing a programming algorithm of the memory in a main system memory, and starting the algoithm by a CPU. CONSTITUTION:In a PROM programmer having a CPU 1, an interface 2, a display unit 3, a keyboard 4, a memory 5, a subsystem memory 7, an input/ output circuit 8, and a ROM socket 9, a programming algorithm for programming the memory 7 is stored in a main system memory 11. Version-up data of the memory 7 to be externally input is stored in the memory 5 through the interface 2. The algorithm stored in the memory 11 is started by the CPU 11, and the version-up data stored in the memory 5 is programmed to the memory 7.</p> |
